The Air Jordan series has always had its rarities, but one of the rarest colourways has to be the ‘Black Toe’. Last seen as part of the limited ‘Old Love/New Love’ pack from 2007, this version of the OG Air Jordan 1 features all of the pioneering characteristics of the original, with one obvious difference, the black panelling around the toe and mid-quarter.
This highly anticipated release holds true to its original form, with ‘NIKE AIR’ branding on the tongue and the winged ‘AIR JORDAN’ on the ankle, both of which have been extremely popular additions, mainly due to the recent ’88 reissue. The soft white and black leather upper will be hard to keep crease-free, but we think this adds to its dated feel exceptionally well and definitely won’t deter anyone from holding off on them.
