Downtown Kayoto champions the second Home Grown x New Era collection

Entering their second stage of collaboration, Home Grown and New Era continue to rework familiar MLB clubhouse staples through a refined lens with fresh silhouettes, raw-edged details and progressive colour palettes. This drop follows the duo’s debut collection that was showcased by Cuppello’s back at the tail end of ’25.

Formed by a coast-to-coast ensemble of style-led Major League heritage, the New York Yankees, San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Dodgers’ team emblems all get the nod this time around, iconic motifs with worldwide adoption that double up as sport and pop-cultural status symbols. Boasting a tonal curation of minimalist layers and 9TWENTY 6-panels, the collection offers up a modern approach to vintage baseball classics, shaped by Home Grown’s signature boxy cuts and premium material optics.

Championing the release, Home Grown and New Era dial their sights on up-and-coming artist Chiko Chinyadza, AKA Downtown Kayoto, to discuss fashion’s influence on form and its seamless intersection with music and everyday life. Born in Zimbabwe but raised in Hull, the 23-year-old singer-songwriter has already received early career co-signs from Pharrell Williams and Zane Lowe – a clear harbinger of what is to come for an artist who is already making a significant imprint across all corners of the playing field.
