The highly anticipated second instalment of our Amsterdam ?exclusive Anthology series arrives, covering the final two chapters - art and culture. These sectors of the city are integral to the ambience and general buzz about the place.

Both creative and awe-inspiring, the art world and culture of the city beckon visitors from far and wide, time and again, securing a place in the hearts of many. Amsterdam is known for many great things, and this final release of the revived adidas Originals does this European city justice.

We’ll start things off with the art chapter, inspired by the Museumkwartier, or Museum Quarter, where you can find some of Amsterdam’s best displays of artwork. This deep blue design references impressionist art that the Dutch are quite famous for.

Uppers arrive in a deep-pigmented blue suede with 3-Stripes taking on the same palette in gradient blue, with a burst of contrasting star-bright yellow on the heel tabs. Underfoot, gum rubber soles stick to blue too, offering a new take on the classic design, while bespoke insoles depict the romanticism of the city as seen from the rooftops, through an artist’s eye. Gold foil Amsterdam branding adds the finishing touch.

We finish this Anthology off with some culture, more specifically, the nightlife culture. With a vibrant club and party scene, this was the perfect place to draw inspiration from for this adidas Originals ?exclusive. The uppers roll out the red carpet with plush crimson suede for the base, with red 3-Stripes striking the sidewalls like laser beams. Below, you'll find something a little different in the red gum rubber sole, which works harmoniously with the shades above. Trefoil branding retains the red-on-red theme at the crinkle tongue, but the sultry design of the bespoke insole represents the city by night, with passersby who are perhaps heading to ‘Club Originals’.

The second instalment of the ?exclusive Amsterdam Anthology is now available at size?
