At the end of September, we were lucky enough to be invited to host a workshop and a size?sessions event at On Running’s Point2 event at 180 The Strand. This multi-sensory Point 2 exhibition included footwear installations, workshops and talks, On technology, movement sessions and parties. You can check out the full schedule to see exactly what went down.

Being invited by On to host the Friday slot for this opening was a real privilege, the label is leading the way when it comes to pushing the boundaries of the cultural and artistic reach of running gear. Leaders in technology too, On’s inception was in the Swiss Alps, an environment which inspired their goal to revolutionise running. The On experience is cloud-like, innovative and effortlessly stylish; only founded in 2010, the Swiss label has gone global since its humble alpine beginnings.

Fast forward to its Point 2 exhibition, the label pushes for innovation in other more artistic forms too. Landing the Friday slot, we started our night with a workshop with a local Hackney-based running club called The Outrunners. This weekly running club helps runners give back to their charity, one that helps young people in the local area achieve their personal goals. There’s also loads of organised races and social gatherings, plus it is open to all levels of runners. In this workshop, size? HQ staff Cameron Poole (Senior Social Media Executive), Simon Newby (Senior Brand Account Manager), Ellie rockett (Brand & Events) also answered a set of questions about their job roles, career paths, proudest achievements and loads more.

What’s more, we were lucky enough to host the amazing Alewya for a size?sessions performance. The multi-talented Alewya is renowned for being one of the UK’s best emerging talents, while she is also a model and a multidisciplinary artist. On the back of her latest single ‘Let Go’, it was a perfect time to get Alewya to host this event. Before it, we managed to speak to her for a quick interview…
