We look at the Air Jordan 12 ‘Playoffs’

Still fashion-forward, the Air Jordan 12 is one of the most striking designs in the label’s ground-breaking lineage. First released in 1996, this work derived from the genius creativity of Tinker Hatfield, who took influence from the Japanese ‘Rising Sun’.

This one directly pays homage to the courts; entitled ‘Playoffs’, this release is a one-to-one reissue of a silhouette worn by Michael Jordan in the 1997 NBA playoffs.

25 years since this icon was released, this bold creation boasts tumbled leather ‘Rising Sun’ uppers, combined with Jumpman encrusted silver lace jewels for a lavish look. A trusty heel pull lets you slip these on with ease, while crisp white textured leather coats the midfoot and toe box. What’s more, Air-cushioned soles carry this trainer, offering premium comfort and shock absorbing tech to each step.
