The Air Jordan 4 gets a ‘Red Thunder’ revamp

Share This:

The follow-up to the Swoosh-less Air Jordan 3 silhouette, the fourth of MJ’s shoes shows a clear evolution within the lineage, as the silhouette really came into its own. First released in ’88 – and worn by MJ during the famous ‘The Shot’ moment – this shoe was derived from the genius of Tinker Hatfield.

Known for his rich catalogue of silhouettes – including the Air Huarache, AJ3, AM90 and more – the man is an architect when it comes to designing trainers. This sublime model arrives with rich, Chicago Bulls-inspired reds, and a dominant tone of bold black.

Soft-to-touch nubuck layers feature throughout, while mesh panels and synthetic mudguards deliver classic style. Tongue and heel labelling secure Jumpman heritage, and the silhouette sits on a two-tone, Air-cushioned sole unit for a shock-absorbing stride.
