Meet the line-up for size?FM x Rinse at our size? Camden store
On Thursday 21st October we’ll be hosting another size? FM event at our size? Camden store. In collaboration with Rinse, this size? FM will be a live broadcast in-store, and as always, we have another really special roster of artists. This time, we have invited an array of Rinse FM residents to show off their skills. So without further ado, let us introduce you to the roster…
Next on the roster for size?FM Carnaby Street is the groove master Trudy.jpg. Picking super lively house and techno beats, Trudy.jpg is a fresh face on the scene, hailing from East London. Boasting shows at Pitchfork Music Festival Paris, Amsterdam’s Appelsap Festival, Junction 2 and NYC’s The Lot Radio Station – inviting crowds worldwide isn’t an issue. Now, bragging a spot on the line-up at size?FM, Trudy.jpg will be a set to remember.
Bringing the vibes and the beats, North London’s SK Vibemaker has established himself on a variety of creative platforms including MCing, documentary making, podcasting, DJing, pirate radio and more. Radio has been a big part of SK’s evolution, featuring on the likes of Heat FM, Dejavu, BBC 1xtra and – of course – multiple slots on Rinse FM. With bags of experience and a rare ability to get the crowd moving with ease, SK Vibemaker was added to our size?FM roster without a second thought.
No stranger to the airways, London-based DJ Neptizzle has graced the likes of BBC 1Xtra, Capital Xtra, Kiss, NTS, Reprezent, and of course Rinse. With Boiler Rooms, Hammersmith Apollo shows, and Strawberry’s & Cream slots under his belt, his live game is just as strong. It’s for this reason clubs across Africa, Europe, and North America have scrambled to get him on the bill – and quite frankly, we feel privileged to have done so too.
Rinse FM’s very own Pretty Hood will be joining the size?FM line-up, bringing the much-loved vibes from The Pretty Good Show. Calling from West London, Pretty Hood jumps from DJing, promoting and presenting duties, having recently conducted an exclusive interview with Giggs. So, whether you tune into Rinse FM’s The Pretty Good Show every Tuesday at 11 am or not, this will be a must-see set.
Despite his moniker, Silencer is making real noise in the UK grime scene. Having produced beats for heavyweights like P Money and Wiley, his production style is no joke. Lauded for a signature blend of classic 808s, oscillating synths and unmistakable vocalists, this London-based producer/DJ is a natural-born hit-maker. Without a doubt, he’s about to shutdown size?FM.
