We look at the Nike Dunk High 1985 ‘Acid Wash’ pack

From understated designs to maximalist ones, the Nike Dunk is an undisputed trainer legend that is still making moves today. Why? The silhouette is timeless, boasting an old school basketball setup while oozing streetwear heritage.

Like we said before, sometimes the Nike Dunk opts for more head-turning colour-ups – the Nike Dunk High 1985 ‘Acid Wash’ pack certainly does this.

First up, one trippy design goes for an acid-wash effect on its ‘University Red’ leather overlays, combining this with a grey underlayer for a more subtle element. Red lacing and Swooshing add a bolder look to the shoe, and further tongue branding enhances Nike heritage. Complementing the above, is a creamy midsole, dividing the top from a red layer on the rubber outsole.

The other shoe opts for a creamy, banana-like hue on its leather base, complementing the smoky-looking white and black ‘Acid Wash’ overlays. Bold black Swooshing and laces add a more daring tone to the trainer, while a richer shade of yellow coats the midsole. Underfoot, it’s business as usual, with a grippy rubber tread that is inspired by the old school b-ball courts.

This pack arrives on Thursday 19th August and is priced at £115. It will be available on our launches app soon.
