We are thrilled to invite Emerald, Redlight and Shadow Child to the size? x Rinse Podcast; three pioneers of the UK dance scene, it is a roaster of raw talent and we are super excited to release this podcast. Check it out below…

Emerald

Hailing from London, DJ and broadcaster Emerald is a rising talent that boasts residencies at Rinse FM and BBC Radio 1XTRA.

With an already rich history of shows, Emerald’s eclectic UK bass sounds have been used at shows all around the globe. Some notable performances include opening for M.I.A’s Meltdown Festival in 2017, Annie Mac’s Lost & Found in Malta, Glastonbury, Ibiza Rocks and more!

The artist has also taken part in talks for Women in Business and Smirnoff’s ‘Equalising Music’ campaign, using her voice to promote equal representation in working environments.

Redlight

British DJ Redlight is a lauded presenter and producer with a rich career, boasting collaborations with Mobb Deep, Raekwon, Mary J Blige and more.

Learning his trade in the midst of the ’90s warehouse rave scene in Bristol, Redlight has worked tirelessly to make his name as one of the UK’s finest DJs. Whether it is garage, dubstep or house, Redlight’s expansive sounds have filled dancefloors for years.

This love of a wide range of genres has been put to good use on his ‘Lobster Boy’ label, offering “Cross-cultured dance music”, not succumbing to a single genre.

Shadow Child

Simon Neale – AKA Shadow Child – is a Portsmouth born DJ and producer with an acclaimed career and notable residencies for Radio 1 and currently Rinse FM, shared with Mall Grab.

Neale boasts a genre-fluid array of original tracks and remixes, helping him gain a widespread following around the globe. He boasts a rich list of shows too, from the legendary Creamfields Festival to Glastonbury and Hideout Festival in Croatia.

What’s more, he also runs the Food Music Label with co-founder Kry Wolf. This is a platform to release his songs while showcasing other talents in the house music realm.
