Following in the footsteps of its high-rising counterpart, adidas Originals’ iconic 1984 Forum Low returns once more in its OG guise.
Once one of the brand’s most revered basketball performance silhouettes, the Forum boasted a head-turning triple-digit price tag and overtook adidas’ Top Ten as the brand’s marquee b-ball model when it first hit the courts.
This rendition looks as though it could have been plucked straight from an ’80s sports shop; it comes detailed with signature suede 3-Stripes to the sidewalls and is crafted from soft, off-white leather for a vintage finish. What’s more, it features the same hook-and-loop strap across the ankle as it did back in ’84.
Underfoot, the model boasts a shock-absorbing Dellinger webbed rubber to provide superb cushioning in every step, and the heritage b-ball pair comes complete with a rubber outsole for tailored traction, plus slightly yellowed laces to complete the archive-fresh look.
The adidas Originals Forum ’84 Low will be available on Thursday 21st January via the size? website. It’s priced at £85 and available in both men’s and women’s sizes.
