Nike’s scare-fest continues with its Air Max 95 ‘Halloween’
Whatever you do, don't fall asleep…or you'll miss the launch of Nike's Halloween-inspired Air Max 95.
The brand has been busy dropping some top-notch scare-themed silhouettes in the lead up to the spookiest day of the year, and next on the list is this Air Max 95 which takes inspiration from The Springwood Slasher himself, Freddy Kruger.
Nodding to Wes Craven's 1984 classic 'A Nightmare on Elm Street', this iteration of Sergio Lozano's Air Max 95 lands with stripey, textured uppers, similar to that of Freddy Kruger's infamous sweatshirt. Chrome leather makes up the tongue and heel in honour of Freddy's glove murder weapon – both of which come complete with blood splatters for a frightening finish.
Underfoot, the hair-raising model is rounded off with signature Air-tech in the heel and forefoot for top-notch cushioning when you're marching down Elm Street.
