Welcome back to size? previews! This month We’ll be taking a further look at the size? exclusive adidas Originals ‘The Lost Ones’ pack we previewed last month, the return of the PUMA Delphin, an updated version of 2018’s amazing Vans Old Skool ‘Factory Floor’ releases we created with Vans, and the full reveal of a project we’ve been working together with adidas Originals and Cream.
size? adidas Originals Trimm Star – The Lost Ones
After giving you a little glimpse into The Lost Ones pack via the ‘Archer’ inspired Trimm Star last month, we’ve got four more releases to further build out the pack. San Francisco, London, Guam, and the rare ‘Unknown’, with their mixed bag of colours and materials across each, start to show you the direction we’re looking to take this collection in going into next year. Plus we’ll also be giving you the chance to work on your own colourway! More details to come in the future…
Over the last couple of months, we’ve seen a great set of releases from PUMA that really champion the terrace styles the brand have as an offering. With a rich heritage in both football and sport in general, there are several shoes we’ve enjoyed being involved in bringing back this year.
Next up is the PUMA Delphin, in a vibrant green and orange colour-up. A variation to the ‘Bluebird’ shape we’ve recently seen used for the London, Rome, Amsterdam, St Petersburg and our exclusive New York, it features a thicker ‘Contact’ sole unit.
Vans Anaheim Old Skool ‘Factory Floor’ – size? Exclusive
We’ve released some great exclusives with vans over the last few years, and one of our favourites was definitely the patchwork ‘Factory Floor’ rendition of the Old Skool back in 2018.
Due to the immense popularity of it at the time, we’ve decided to bring it back for 2020 with a few tweaks and updates. The most prominent change is the use of the ‘Anaheim’ style shape, meaning the form is much truer to that of an original Vans shoe from the ’60s. An orange license plate features on the rear of the sole, a detail we’ve included on all of our 2020 releases with the brand.
size? x adidas Originals x Cream – Training PT
Lastly, something we’ve somehow managed to keep under wraps after all these months! We’re rounding off our 2020 celebrations with a three-way collaborative project together with adidas Originals, and clubbing pioneers Cream. Our feature style for this release is the Training PT, a shoe beloved and associated with the same city as our collaborators, Liverpool.
The main cream leather uppers sit together with several vibrant, varying coloured stripes, a palette that takes inspiration from a beautifully designed flyer from Creams archive. We’ve also created an apparel collection that continues the theme, with alternating stripes running up a cream ‘Firebird’ tracksuit, t-shirt, and bucket hat.
