It’s time we all said arigato to adidas Originals because they’ve finally resurrected the Japan trainer from the vault.
The Japan is one of the 3-Stripes’ most elusive trainers. It made its debut on the world stage at ’64 Tokyo Olympics and was one of the brand’s very first low-profile training silhouettes.
Painted in the same stark white and bold red hues as its namesake’s national flag, this premium iteration lands with buttery-soft kangaroo leather across the top for broken-in comfort from the moment you slip them on. A white leather pull tab at the heel makes taking the pair off and on a breeze, and branding-wise the model’s Japan moniker decorates the sidewall in a green shade for a contrasting finish.
We’re glad to be welcoming it back.
