Good news! We’re pleased to announce we’ll be partnering up with Graduate Fashion Week this summer for the third year in a row. This time we’ll be sponsoring the Footwear Design Award 2020 and collaborating with students on a range of campaigns designed to inspire – we can’t wait.
In light of the current social situation, Graduate Fashion Week will be taking a different and safety-first approach for 2020, spread over the space of a few weeks and it’s still set to be as interesting and informative as ever, as well as most importantly showcasing the best creatives graduating this year.
Rather than the traditional week we’re all used to, GFW will be running over the summer from June and July. There are some pretty good events on the bill too: ‘Graduate Fashion Week LIVE! From Home’ and GFF (Graduate Fashion Foundation) Masterclasses to name a few, bringing to the table fantastic insider knowledge from industry peers and fashion brand representatives.
Both of the events will run throughout the next few weeks, with the awards shortlist announcement on the evening of 10th June, and the winners decided on the 9th and 10th July.

After two years of sponsoring the Photography and the Styling and Creative Direction awards, we’re the official sponsors of an award that’s true to our roots and passion, the Footwear Design Award.
We’re big believers in cultivating the next crop of creative talent, and after featuring some fantastic entries and great graduate footwear ideas over our last two years at GFW, we’re under no illusions on the amount of exciting talent and raw creativity that exists within the footwear design category. We honestly can’t wait to be involved with this award every step of the way – from shortlisting the best entries to finally deciding a winner.
That’s not all; we’re also working with students throughout the event on some very special brand campaigns for Converse, as well as showcasing a host of creative student talents across all of our social channels.
