For our 20th birthday celebrations, we’re asking some of our favourite DJs, producers and collectors to select and mix 20 tracks exclusively for our all-new size? sessions (20:20 Mix) series.

Last week we kicked things off with a top-class mix from renowned Belgium-born DJ LeFtO, and for our second instalment, Nic Fanciulli is taking to the decks.

House DJ, Grammy-nominated producer and Saved Records label owner, Nic has constantly sat as one of the UK’s finest exports in electronic music throughout the last decade.

Ahead of his mix – which drops on Friday 10th April 20:20PM – we got to know Nic a little bit better and find out about his musical influences and favourite footwear.

Keep on reading and check it out…

What/who inspired your sound today? Can you tell us how your sound has evolved?

“I enjoy many genres and sounds so the DJs that inspired me early on were guys like Laurent Garnier and Francois K. They have such an amazing range of music and would play everything from disco to techno to drum and bass.

I think this really made me open up and appreciate every genre of music. Along the way, people like Sasha & Digweed, Carl Cox & Lee Burridge also influenced me and kinda shaped the sound I play today.”

Is there any particular silhouette launching soon you hope to get your hands on?
