Collaborating once more, Nike taps up Astroworld superstar Travis Scott for another striking interpretation of the Air Force 1. Moving away from the clean white on his previous edition, this time the pair honours the rapper’s Texas-based roots by reworking the uppers in a patchwork plethora of hardwearing materials.

The silhouette merges corduroy, patterned canvas, camo accents, leather, suede and wool. Touches of farm-like burlap embody a resilient spirit, while Scott’s signature ‘Cactus Jack’ crops up throughout. Providing something a little bit different, removable lace covers keeps in fitting with the workwear aesthetic.

Hailing to Travis’ time spent at his grandmother’s countryside home as a child in Missouri City, Texas, the snap buttons on the shoe’s heel call out the small town’s moniker. Below the Air Force 1’s signature Air-infused midsole provides plush cushioning with each step, rounded off nicely with a gum rubber outsole.
