adidas Originals are no stranger when it comes to terrace footwear, in fact, we’d go as far as saying they’re the experts on it. Crafting colourful suede shoes is their forte, and this season the brand with the three-stripes is ready to welcome an all-new model into their rotation, the Stadt.
Translating to ‘City’ in German, the low-profile vibrant silhouettes look as though they could have been plucked straight from the archives. Borrowing design cues from some of the brand’s most iconic releases – notably their Tobacco styled sole unit and City Series-Esque uppers – the Stadt is sure to be welcomed across the terraces of Britain with open arms.
Hitting the shelves in two bright palettes, the first of the two sees the pair’s supple suede uppers painted in ‘Real Purple’, with bursts of ‘Solar Yellow’ used for the stripes and heel counter. Next up the trainer receives a ‘Glowing Green’ treatment, while ‘Shock Pink’ shades the stripes for a stark contrast. As you’ll all have come to expect by now, underfoot sits a signature gum rubber midsole, while gold lettering sits on the sidewall and calls out the silhouettes moniker.
The adidas Originals Stadt will be available on Saturday 7th September via the size? website and in selected size? stores, priced at £85.
