Back in the ‘80s, adidas’ ZX series was a real game-changer in the running world. The introduction of the trailblazing Torsion technology prevented excessive twisting and heightened stability for runners when they were out on the roads. Subsequently, the silhouette was a big hit, and this season adidas remembers and re-embraces the design, whilst propelling it into the present day with all-new nifty tech.
Dressed in vivid, summery shades of cyan blue, linen green and royal blue, the latest edition of the ZX Torsion is made from comfortable suede, leather and mesh up top. The X-shaped Torsion system we were on about earlier provided the same robust support in the midsole as it did back in ’89, while the addition of adidas’ signature Boost energises your steps with energy-returning cushioning. One final touch – pops of reflective detailing illuminates the uppers to ensure your trainers always garner the attention they deserve.
adidas’ ZX Torsion will be available via the size? previews app and in size? stores on Thursday 11th July, priced at £110.
