One of the key features found in the Vista Grind is the composite found within the midsole unit. Cushioning is comprised of recycled off-cuts from the production of Zoom X midsoles for other running shoes. The springy foam is encapsulated within a brand new platformed midsole, complete with cut-out windows to allow you to see the technology at work.
Design-wise, the lightweight upper is reminiscent of one of Nike’s stand out releases from 2019 – the React Element 87. Sharing a similar form and profile, a slim transparent upper wraps around the foot, structurally supported by a thick plastic heel counter.
We teamed up with Journalist and champion of sustainable living Simran Randhawa, to take a closer look at the shoes eccentric shape, and experiment with a few different ways of styling it out.
