Nike and animal-inspired prints go hand in hand, and back in 2003, they delighted fans when they introduced snakeskin uppers across their iconic Air Max 90 silhouette. The pair’s scaly monochrome aesthetic quickly became a fan-favourite and this season, the brand proudly reintroduces a two-fold Air Max 90 QS ‘Python’ pack.

Looking to the past while keeping one eye on the future – the first style in the ‘Python’ pack remains true to the ’03 OG, with a white leather base overlaid by textured panels of suede and predator-like snakeskin leather. The other half of the collection paints the Air Max 90 in a reptile-influenced venomous green hue while opting for black leather as a base. As usual, an Air bubble in the midsole offers you cloud-like comfort with every step, with a rubber outsole stopping you from slipping on troubling surfaces.

Launching back in 1990, the Air Max 90 is fast approaching its 30th birthday, and Nike’s Python Pack may be a teaser of things to come from the Beaverton-brand.

The Nike Air Max 90 ‘Python’ Pack will be available via the size? website and in selected size? stores on Thursday 13th June, priced at £120, and available in both men’s and women’s sizes.
