Launching a three-fold 3M pack, this season the Jordan brand dresses their Air 6, 7, and 8 silhouettes in fully reflective uppers for the ‘Reflections of a Champion’ pack. The commemorative collection honours Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bull’s first three-peat title winning streak, the starting point for the Jumpman’s dynasty.

In the 1990–91 season, Jordan won his second MVP award after averaging 31.5 points per game for the regular season. Meeting with the LA Lakers in the NBA finals, the stage was set for Jordan’s first ever Finals appearance, as well as being Magic Johnson’s last. The Bulls beat the Lakers four games to one, with MJ averaging 31.2 points, 11.4 assists, 6.6 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 1.4 blocks, leading to his first NBA Finals MVP Award.

Worn on his feet throughout the finals was the Air Jordan 6. This edition channels the same aesthetic as the illustrious ‘Infrared’ iteration, boasting the same signature red accents to the sidewalls, heel and ankle. However, the shimmering iteration does away with the usual black uppers, swapping them with reflective 3M panels.

The Air Jordan 7 was MJ’s sneaker of choice for the 1991-1992 NBA Finals against the Portland Trail Blazers, breezing past them four games to two. Jordan secured his second NBA Finals MVP Award, doing so while wearing Air 7’s.

A near copy of the famed ‘Cardinal’ Air 7, this shining style boasts the same colour notes as the OG, complete with the yellow accents on the Jumpman logo, heel-tab, and outsole, finished MJ’s Jordan’s famous 23 no. to the heel.

These Air Jordan 8’s nod to the 1993 NBA Finals, in which Jordan and his Bulls dispatched the Phoenix Suns – who were led by regular league MVP Charles Barkley – four games to two. The Bulls were the first team since the Boston Celtics to win three back to back titles, asserting their dominance within the NBA. In true champion form, MJ averaged an astonishing 41.0 points per game during the six-game series, becoming the first player in NBA history to win three straight NBA Finals MVP Awards.

Similar in design to the iconic ‘Bugs Bunny’ iteration that Michael Jordan sported in his ‘Space Jam’ Disney debut, this Air Jordan 8 features the same paint splattered-patterning to the midsole and outsole, while reworking the uppers in a space-age reflective silver.

The Air Jordan 6, 7, 8 ‘Reflections of a Champion’ Pack will be available via the size? website and in selected size? stores on Saturday 8th June, priced between £170 – £190.
