Air Jordan VI OG ‘Flint’

Designed and developed by Nike’s legendary designer Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan VI was first seen on the feet of Michael Jordan in 1991 while he won his first ever NBA title and MVP crown. This season, the coveted silhouette returns in a ‘Flint’ colourway which was first popularised on the Air Jordan VII.

Upon its initial release, the Air Jordan VI featured a clear rubber outsole and visible Air unit and utilised a clean toe box, which was a specific design request from Michael Jordan himself. Plus, a rubber tongue with finger loops, a moulded plastic heel tab and an inner boot sleeve were all added to give a superior fit for on-court use.

Now back with a premium ‘Flint’ makeup, this latest colourway pays tribute to one of the more famed colours found on the VII. Premium light grey suede makes up the base of the silhouette, overlaid with smooth leather panelling. Detailed perforations feature throughout for breathable comfort, and alongside this, infrared and purple hues accent the lace lock, heel tab and side branding tab. Finishing off the luxe pair, underfoot an icy blue outsole delivers gripping traction on and off the court.

The Air Jordan VI ‘OG ‘Flint’  will be available on the size? previews app and in selected size? stores on Saturday 12th January, priced at £165 and available in men’s sizes.
