The New Balance X-90 Reconstructed, available in four new colourways

In recent seasons, New Balance have been known for their strong, archive focused collections, with firm favourites such as the 990 and 991 being popular with NB collectors and enthusiasts. Earlier in the year we saw the release of the new X-90 silhouette which pulls inspiration from the famed 900 series, and the second ‘Reconstructed’ edition adds a few more tweaks to the toebox area for a more structured shape around the front.

With all the characteristics of classic archive silhouettes, the New Balance X-90 features typical New Balance craftsmanship, alongside contemporary detailing. Premium suede and nubuck is introduced across the upper, comprising of several panels that make up the construction. Mesh runs through the underlay and into the bootie style sockliner for added comfort. A revlite midsole that pulls lines and technical details from a selection of shoes from the 900 series, also features a ‘pill’ that allows you to see where the Abzorb technology is featured within the unit.

All four colourways of the New Balance X-90 Reconstructed are available online and in size? stores now.

Take a look at the latest episode of true to size?, where we sat down with New Balance X-90 designer Sam Pearce.
