Vans Old Skool ‘Factory Floor’ – size? Exclusive

It’s been a while since our last collaborative project with Vans, but it’s definitely been worth the wait. After the success of our tonal suede releases three years ago, we’re back with part one of our Old Skool ‘Factory Floor’ pack.

Thematically, the release relates back to the first Vans Anaheim factory in California, the original location where the brands shoe were made in the USA. The hap-hazard mash up of materials pays homage to the excess off-cuts found on the floor of the workshop after the panels of a regular shoe have been spliced and taken away to construct one solid shoe.

Shape wise we had the opportunity to work on the Old Skool once again, one of the most iconic shapes found within the brands archive, and a style that has attained a level of timelessness having spent over 60 years in the spotlight. The upper comprises of 15 different patterned and textured materials that are scattered across the pair, meaning both the left and right shoes are completely different. Adding more to the individual nature of each shoe, there will in turn be variations on the plaid, camo and spotted panels.

Limited to just 600 pairs, the size? Exclusive Vans Old Skool ‘Patchwork’ will be available online and in all size? stores on Friday 13th April, priced at £70.
