Nike ‘Breathe’ Collection

Experimenting with the notion of offering more breathability for the foot during everyday wear, Nike have applied a layered mesh treatment to some of their classic running styles, culminating in the ‘Breathe’ Collection.

The first instalment of the pack see’s the Air Max 90 and the recently updated Huarache Ultra apply the Breathe feature across their uppers. The layering of the mesh is thinner in certain areas where more ventilation is needed such as the toebox and selected regions of the sidewall.

Both styles are fitted out with lightweight Ultra midsole units, almost inverting the outsole shape used on the original to utilise the negative space and reduce on weight.

The Nike ‘Breathe’ collection will launch online and in selected size? stores on Friday 15th April, pricing details will be confirmed during the week.
