Founded in 1966, this year K-Swiss celebrate their 50th anniversary of serving the needs of tennis players around the world. To commemorate these five successful decades, they've delved into the archives and pulled out some of their most popular styles from over the years to showcase their timeline.
The line-up includes the Irvine OG, Classic '83, Classic '88, Classic '88 Lux and their pinnacle piece, the Classic '66, Americas first leather tennis shoe and created in the year of the companies inception. Each style is particularly clean in appearance, with the signature side stripes emblazoned across the sidewalls, and off white vintage midsoles added to indicate that aged personality. The Classic '88 Lux is a stripped back version of the original '88 with the stripes removed to show off the premium leather upper, and upgraded D-Rings have instead been applied to keep the laces in place.
The 50th Anniversary collection is available online
now and in selected size? stores now (Excluding the Classic '88 Lux which will be available shortly).
