The Nike Woven Chukka was first introduced in 2010, a hybrid shoe with an assortment of new concepts. It utilises the classic Nike Woven, a hand-made lifestyle shoe made from stretchy woven nylon on a solid rubber midsole, along with the Nike Footscape, an unorthodox shoe that featured a side-lacing system developed for runners with wider feet. Both of these unique styles have always captured the imagination and there have been many desirable collaborations to own from names since such as Fragment Design, Atmos and Bodega. As we enter 2014 Nike has resurrected these two legendary models into one, the Nike Air Footscape Desert Chukka Woven which has fusing several interesting features from each into a brand new silhouette. Adopting the chunky rock-type sole of the Air Footscape combined with the sleek upper of the Air Woven Boots, it features a tightly woven upper accented with leather lace-ups, collar and heel tab. A welcomed and exciting addition to the Air Footscape family. The Nike Air Footscape Desert Chukka Woven will be launching on Friday 10th January online via a direct link provided on our Facebook and Twitter pages at 8:00am GMT. They will also be available in selected size? stores, priced at £160 and in UK sizes 7 – 11. PLEASE NOTE: THE RED COLOURWAY HAS BEEN DELAYED AND WILL BE AVAILABLE EARLY NEXT WEEK.
