When the Nike Free was introduced in 2004, it was a massive breakthrough in performance running, a time when other brands were using bulky cushioning and heavily padded support. The base, or alien-like sole, was where all your attention was focused towards, until you actually put a pair on. With a sock-like fit, the shoes were designed to hug every part of your foot and, along with the one-piece sole; it gave you an unprecedented amount of movement whilst running.

This inovative silhouette has been the topic of discussion within the lifestyle and running communities alike due to its groundbreaking design, colour range and the hybrid designs such as the Huarache Free and Footscape Free, even being utilised for a golf prototype for Tiger Woods. The connection between the two cultures has merged perfectly, producing a shoe that not only performs well on the feet of athletes, but on the feet of everyone else.

Celebrating this, Nike now presents a superb Quickstrike silhouette which includes a woven upper, along with a subtly speckled sole and premium leather panelling, all in three discrete colourways. Available in selected size? stores and online now, The Nike Free Run+ 2 Woven is priced at £90.
