Nike Air Max 180 ‘Ultramarine’

Nike Air just doesn’t get old. Reinstating more retro recipes from its archive, the 180 ‘Ultramarine’ gets the nod its been waiting for since its last feature back in 2018, and is a well-received reintroduction back into the spotlight.

Invented by two minds – Tinker Hatfield and Bruce Kilgore – the Nike Air 180 was first introduced back in 1991. Uppers return in white mesh, with suede overlays which are complimented by ‘Ultramarine’ accenting on the Swoosh and collar lining. Hits of ‘Solar Red’ encompass the fully-visible 180 degree Air Unit, a feat even today, while a semi-waffled black rubber outsole cements the comeback of a cult favourite.
