Our next re-size? instalment has landed, and this time we are bringing back one of adidas Spezial’s most celebrated releases – the adidas Spezial NG Garwen. This isn’t just any Garwen though, the silhouette has been signed by the legend himself and is unworn, making these a must-have collector’s item for fans of terrace culture, Noel’s music, and his little-known previous group – Oasis.

This shoe isn’t just drenched in musical heritage, the silhouette is inspired by Noel’s adidas Brisbanes that were part of the label’s rather elusive ’80s Leisure Series. Everything about this one is premium adidas, and it owns a cleaner look without 3-Stripe sidewall branding, really letting the quality of the leather uppers resonate. Exposed stitching jumps from tonal to crisp white, while most of the shoe owns a rich navy colouring. As well as the signature, there’s an ‘Endorsed by’ Noel Gallagher print on the tongue with a portrait image of the singer, reinforcing the link between music and footwear.

Replacing the 3-Stripes, on the lateral sidewalls there’s a tonal branded adidas flap, while the rubber soles feature 3 indented stripes that combine with the classic Trefoil logo. These sturdy soles deliver a grippy tread and further branding for a classic adi sign-off.
