After our 20th anniversary in 2020, we didn’t think that it would be possible to match the exclusives released throughout the year – we did a pretty fine job. Throughout 2021, we have been teaming up with our favourite brands for a set of size? Exclusives. From 3-Striped terrace staples to Swoosh classics, Reebok revamps, and a tonne more collabs, this has been an extraordinary year for the brand as we venture into our third decade of existence – and we would like to thank you for joining us along the way!

One label that we have – quite simply – adored throughout our existence is adidas Originals. A brand rich in sporting and streetwear history, they are never anything short of class. We aren’t shy of a collab with adi, and over the years, we have delved into their vast archive to bring back some of their most revered silhouettes. There is something about the brand’s 3-Stripes that ignite a sudden feeling of nostalgia and heritage, while the highest quality of craftsmanship, functionality and style is always assured.

Where do we start with adi releases this year…?

One of the standouts was the adidas Originals Trimm Star ‘The Lost Ones – Mark Evans’ – size? Exclusive. An ode to his wife, Mark designed a silhouette that was inspired by the colours of the Thyroid Cancer ribbon, representing the journey that he and his wife ventured on after the diagnosis. With purple and pinks, soft suede and velvet, 3-Stripes and Trefoils – it’s everything you want from an adi trainer.

Our ‘The Lost Ones’ series continued with the super rare, Russian ‘Ulm’ and the Wes Anderson-inspired design that nodded to The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (2004).

Also for you film buffs, we paid homage to the iconic David Fincher film – Fight Club (1999). For this size? Exclusive, we have taken the Campus ’80 silhouette and reworked it with a bunch of homages to David Fincher’s legendary cult classic. Throughout the trainer, there is an abundance of features that nod to different bits of iconography from the film. We couldn’t think of a better trainer than the adidas Originals Campus ’80, a canvas made for a creative rework.

We dipped into the archives too, reissuing a pair of adidas Originals AS 240s and 260s in classic colours, while we also got the green light on an exclusive Stan Smith model – one of our all-time favourites.

We can’t forget about the vibrant Zurros, the terrace-ready Napoli, and the GORE-TEX twist on the adidas Originals Tobacco. What a year it has been.
