As the all-new Dr. Martens x atmos collaboration is set to release this week, we managed to catch up with Joel Wilson, a Footwear Designer for Dr. Martens.

As well as having a chat with him, he introduced us to his Dr. Martens collection, showing us some of the finest silhouettes the brand has released.

The collection has minimalist masterpieces, all with bold colours, yellow stitching and – as always – hardwearing materials. Have a browse.

Raf Simmons 1461 Exposed Steel Toe

“This one’s finished with an asymmetrical touch, by exposing an engraved metal toe cap on one of the feet. The engraving reads “DR MARTENS / RF SMNS”, alongside other traditional shoemaker markings.”

Undercover 1460 Corduroy Boot

“A personal favourite. The boot is crafted from minimalist, British-sourced corduroy – chosen specially by the Japanese designer – finished with ‘S’ and ‘N’ (SPIRITUAL NOISE) embroidery on the vamp.”

atmos 1461 Black Smooth

“As a homage to 60 years of the 1461 this month, we enhanced what is an already dope shoe, with ATMOS blue pops and details that brings both brands to life in this collab.”

1461 White Smooth Leather

“The alternative summer choice right here. Less is more…”

atmos Combs Tech

“This specific project allowed for a more playful expression of colour and material – along with branding vehicles and hardware. Fresh looking product, with great details.”
