The adidas archives are full of silhouettes that enthusiasts are itching to have back on the shelves. Sometimes though, it can be impossible to bring them back, whether it’s the moulds and lasts that no longer exist or the materials are simply not available, it can be pretty tricky to remake them. Our ‘The Lost Ones’ project has the aim of re-releasing designs that take inspiration from these sought-after trainers, nodding to classic models and their striking colourways.

Introducing the ‘Unknown’, a silhouette that people quite literally know nothing about; due to the vast nature of adidas’ back catalogue, shoes can sometimes fly completely under the radar. It’s ok though, we have re-imagined this enigmatic design, taking inspiration from the OG model found in various books and publications. The trainers feature dusky yellow suede uppers with vibrant serrated 3-Stripes and glimmering Trimm Star lettering to the lateral wall. A classic gum sole beneath provides a terrace-ready identity to the trainer; whether you know its story or not, it certainly has a classic feel.
