Completing the BC Trainer ‘Summer Holidays’ range is a leisure shoe based on the Sevilla.

The adidas’ Leisure and Island series has a rich history of premium silhouettes, but unfortunately, plenty of physical models are no longer circulating, or even possible to recreate. To fill the void, we have teamed up with adidas Originals to provide a BC Trainer ‘Summer Holidays’ collection which aims to remodel a collection of rare designs from the archives.

This final design is based on an archival classic, the Sevilla, a premium aniline leather silhouette named after the capital of Spain’s Andalusia region; the shoe oozed class, offered durable grip and was constructed to battle wet terrains.

Fast forward to today, we are releasing a trainer inspired by the Seville, taking much of the leisure shoe’s aesthetics but making them own a more terrace-ready persona. The uppers boast creamy brown leather which is joined by tonal serrated 3-Stripes and laces. Trefoil branding is on the tongue and heel with BC trainer branding sitting on the lateral wall, signalling this exclusive collection. Below, a black rubber sole complements the rest of the silhouette, kitted out with more Trefoil branding, further enhancing its retro appeal.
