The North Face RAGE Collection Part 2

After recent successful reissues of some of their greatest collections and archive jackets, this season The North Face have reimagined their ‘Rage’ collection once again.

As with many TNF products, the functionality aspect is always first priority. The ‘Rage’ collection was originally built with snowboarders in mind, with pioneers of the sport like Jim Zellers working with the brand to help promote and develop products. Jackets and pants were kitted with both additional padding and panelling built in to protect against heavy falls. They were also a little more oversized to allow for free movement when hurtling down a slope. Visually they stood out against the traditional colour blocking of your Nuptse or Mountain Jacket. Each panel on the jacket would often vary in colour and feature different vibrant neons set alongside blocks of black.

Reintroducing the ‘Rage’ collection in a monochrome colour palette, the capsule features a combination of both new and original products to demonstrate each design’s timeless nature. An asymmetrical fleece anorak and pants sit alongside a more traditional ‘Rage’ Mountain jacket as pinnacle pieces from the collection, featuring the signature detailing running along the seams of the panels. Completing the collection, branded t-shirts bare the jagged ‘RAGE’ logo down the chest.

The second drop of The North Face’s ‘Rage’ Collection will be available online and in selected size? stores on Wednesday 16th January, priced between £30 – £245.
