The EQT range was one of adidas’ strongest outputs throughout the mid 90’s, specialising in quality, considered equipment designed to actively improve an athletes performance. The range spanned across the running track, football field, and beyond into the great outdoors.
The latest evolution of the range is the EQT ADV, an advanced form of one of the figurehead running silhouettes from the range, the EQT Support.

A fitting tribute to the collection that came before, the new EQT ADV updates the styling with new midsole tooling that features a brand new outsole, and the addition of a knitted upper sits it perfectly alongside the Ultraboost’s and NMD’s of the modern day. Some of the classic aesthetic features of EQT  are still visible, with the ribboned eyestays still adding strength to the shoe once laced, and the signature three strike accents on the midsole pay homage perfectly.

Among the aforementioned changes, other standout alterations include the addition of a sweeping heel bumper, subtly emblazoned with Equipment branding, a premium suede underlay, and the noticeable switch over to adidas Originals branding on the tongue tab. This change-up seems to blend together the two worlds of Originals and Equipment/Performance in order to create something brand new, but visibly inspired by the past.

The adidas Originals EQT ADV will be available online and in selected size? stores on Friday 24th June, priced at £110 and available in sizes UK 6-11 .
