Nike Air Max 90 ’25th Anniversary Collection’

A vast array of materials and finishes have been applied to the iconic shades of infrared of the Air Max 90 to pay homage to the shoes 25th birthday. The infrared colourway was originally used on the Air Max 90 to draw attention to the innovative large air unit built into the sole. This colour has now gone on to be synonymous with the shoe, so for the 25th birthday, the use of infrared throughout the pack made perfect sense.

This time around Tinker Hatfield’s famed design is decked out in a dark reptile upper with black leather detailing, black swoosh and white midsole. In contrast a cactus green, snakeskin effect premium leather has been applied to the upper panels of the second release, again finished with a black swoosh and white midsole.

The Nike Air Max 90 ’25th Anniversary Collection’ in Black and Cactus releases online next Thursday (7th May) at 8am GMT via direct links on our Facebook and Twitter pages and in all size? stores from their respective opening times, priced at £110 in UK sizes 6-13 (including half sizes).
