Brian Woo (Better known by his pseudonym Doctor Woo) immersed himself into the world of tattooing in 2008, by shadowing the iconic Mark Mahoney. Mahoney is famously the proprietor of Shamrock Social Club in Hollywood; this was where Woo first began to apply his trade as a tattooist and place himself onto the radar.

Featured in the “Top Up and Coming Angeleno” rating by Nylon Magazine shortly after joining the Shamrock Club, it sparked a real passion for the creative industries and enforced the fact that tattooing was now much more than a hobby. Starting to receive real recognition, Woo’s affinity for the creative industries soon shone through, provoking him to start his own lifestyle brand ‘Surrender Everything’ alongside tattooing.

The sharp, defined lines and clinical hand drawn execution has become Woo’s signature, with his work and style being lauded across the world. This results in most celebrities, innovators and press calling in when passing through, making Woo one of the most recognisable and highly desired tattoo artists of his generation.
