The adidas Originals Dublin is easily one of the most celebrated City Series silhouettes out there. Always has been. Always will be.

As we’re sure you’re all aware, there’s been countless renditions and re-releases of the famed model over the years. But, as part of our all-new ‘Throwback’ series, we’re taking a look back at our most iteration.

Back in November ’17, we were truly pleased to bring the Dublin back into the spotlight once more as part of our exclusive Archive Collection.

In case you’re not clued up on the silhouette, the Dublin was first introduced way back in 1976, and coined its name from the capital city of the Republic of Ireland – as you might have guessed.

Just like its other siblings from the City Series, it was originally designed as a low-cut, lightweight, training shoe, with a moniker that chronicled one of 24 cities throughout Europe. Each commemorative silhouette was characterised of by a unique colourway, with one of the most iconic palettes being, yep you’ve sussed it, the Dublin’s.

The pair’s smooth suede uppers sport a deep royal blue hue, while its 3-Stripes and heel counter are served up in a vibrant orange shade for a stark contrast. There’s no doubt that it’s a beauty. To the underside, the classic pair sits atop a gum rubber outsole for that signature adidas finish.
