Nike’s ‘Give Fresh Air’ initiative continues to unify local sneaker communities since it began two years ago. In celebration of Air Max day, we collaborated with Pot Gang, an independent business, to host a Grow Your Own Workshop at our Carnaby St store, to showcase how growing fruit and vegetables can be made more accessible for the new generation of gardeners in order to encourage sustainable living.

Additionally, we offered a free gift for in-store purchases in every UK store of the Nike Air Max 1 ‘86 ‘Big Bubble’. This included a grown-your-own box from Pot Gang which included coconut compost, basil, tomato and cucamelon seeds. A Sneaker Planter was on offer too – an Air Max 1 ‘86 shaped plant pot to grow your selected seeds in. This year’s Air Max Day was all about living sustainably and being self-sufficient in order to ensure a better future for the planet whilst celebrating the legacy of Air Max.
