We’ve always been champions of creativity here at size?, and for 2021 it’s going to be no different. We’re joining forces with London’s Rinse for an exclusive series of size? sessions throughout the year. That’s not all though; we’re also introducing an all-new podcast series and we’re set to hijack Rinse’s radio waves for a size? takeover – we can’t wait.

But before we break down our exciting projects with Rinse, let us fill you in on who they are and what they do:

Rinse began its life as a pirate music station, providing a voice to London’s up-and-coming underground artists since its get-go. It remains the centre of a vast musical community and continues to lock itself into the pulse of the underground to this day.

Like ourselves, Rinse is massively community-driven and love to give back to its listeners. We feel our values and communities perfectly align, and we can’t wait to work with the London-based community radio station and bring its expertise to size? sessions.

size? sessions

size? sessions allow us to give back to the size? community by re-engaging with the tangible element of live music, and while the Covid-19 pandemic has put a holt to our in-store performances, that’s not stopped us from showcasing some of the UK’s rising stars. 

By working with Rinse, 2021 is going to be our biggest year for size? sessions. 

Kicking off this month, we’re connecting the fashion and music community through a series of 12 size? sessions – filmed in various locations in the cities that host our stores – over the course of the year. We want to provide an opportunity for music lovers to enjoy gigs safely in the comfort of their own home (for the time being), inspiring the next generation of DJs and musicians. Once the restrictions ease up, we’ll be bringing back our signature physical events that we’ve all been missing. 

You’ll be able to tune into the events via the size? blog and the Rinse YouTube channel, with playback audio also landing on our MixCloud. 

Introducing the size? podcast

For the first time, and in collaboration with Rinse, we’re bringing you a series of size? podcasts. We’ll be inviting key protagonists from cultural backgrounds to hone in on topics based around music and lifestyle and of course, bringing this back to fashion and trainers – well it wouldn’t be size? without a touch of footwear, would it?

size? FM takeover

We’re broadcasting live from one of our size? stores to take over Rinse for a full size?-inspired day – it’s not to be missed. 

What’s more, Rinse will also be curating a quarterly playlist to celebrate the past 20 years of size?, showcasing a mix of established and up-and-coming musical talent which you’ll be able to find on their website and on our socials every time they drop.
