Nike’s Air Max 90 ‘Gator Green’

With the Air Max 90’s anniversary creeping ever closer, it seems Nike has kicked off the birthday celebrations a little prematurely with a slew of top-notch colourways. We’ve already been treated to several reptile renditions of the silhouette this year, but the Air Max 90 ‘Gator Green’ may just top the lot.

Looking as though it could have been cooked up in a biology lab, the pair’s base sports a duo of camouflaged pony hair patterns across up the toe, vamp and sidewall. The mudguard and ankle, on the other hand, opt for a green reptilian leather. Underfoot it’s business as usual with cushioning Air bubble technology, while the midsoles semi-translucent design highlights the bright red outsole – a colour which also crops up on the tongue and footbed.
