The adidas Originals Trimm Trab has always held a fond place in the heart of football fans. Initially released as a training shoe in Germany in 1975, the model quickly found its way onto the shores of the city in the ’80s when it was discovered by scores of football fans while travelling across Europe to follow their team. Still omnipresent on the terraces today, the latest Trimm Trab pays tribute to one of the fiercest and well-known football rivalries around.

Exclusive to size?, these iterations of the Trimm Trab channel the teams featuring within the infamous ‘Paulista’ derby in Sau Paulo, Brazil. Considered one of the top ten rivalries in world football, the long-standing derby – first played in 1917 – has hosted upwards of 120,000 people and is renowned for its febrile atmosphere. Each shoe is made from supple leather and features the coordinates of Sao Paulo’s iconic stadiums on the lining. They’re finished with classic Trefoil branding to the sidewalls and a cushioning midsole unit.

The adidas Originals Trimm Trab ‘Paulista’ iterations will be available via the size? previews app and in size? stores on Friday 31st May, priced at £75 and available in men’s and women’s sizes.
