It’s fair to say Tyler, The Creator has kept us on our toes since his first capsule with Converse. His eclectic collections have seen the hip-hop luminary experiment with a smorgasbord of textures, palettes and fabrics (including suede, leather and even burlap) – and this season he’s mixing things up yet again. Inspired by his ambition of making lavish styles accessible and personalised, the selection sees Converse’s One Star and Chuck 70 silhouettes adorned with rich quilted velvet. There’s three vibrant colourways available – ‘Brown Sugar’, ‘Barbados Cherry’ and ‘Tilandsia Purple’ – each velvet-infused shoe is adorned with a monotone Tyler flower motif and exclusive embroidered branding.
