size? Carnaby Street x Columbia Pop Up

If you’ve been down to size? Carnaby Street recently you may have already seen the Columbia pop-up shop, located downstairs in our apparel basement.

Installed to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Columbia’s Bugaboo Jacket, the pop-up also features the 80’s inspired Windell Park jacket, named after the iconic ski and snowboard camp at Mount Hood in Oregon and the 90’s inspired retro pullover, the Challenger.

Earlier in the year we took a trip out to Columbia’s HQ in Portland, Oregon where we were fortunate enough to speak to Senior Urban Designer Phil Padilla about the iconic Bugaboo jacket and the legacy behind it. Although the design of the Bugaboo modernises each year to fit the current time, Phil describes the jacket as something both dads and their sons will wear, meaning the style of the jacket is so versatile it lives beyond just the one generation. The new multifunctional Bugaboo features a zip in, zip out fleece liner and a breathable waterproof shell which can either be worn separately or together. The design and fit is inspired by archive samples of the original Bugaboo and the colourway looks back to the year the jacket was originally launched.

Alongside the Bugaboo, we’ve also got a selection of size? Exclusive renditions of both the Wendell and Challenger jackets, heavy duty weatherproof outerwear designed to keep you dry and protected in all conditions.

The pop-up shop will be live in the Carnaby Street basement until the 15th November, stocking the latest products from Columbia.
