FILA have been producing some of the most recognisable footwear and apparel of the last 30 years, with archive product being appropriated by numerous sub-cultures. With this in mind, for our latest collaboration with the brand, we’ve had the honour of gaining access to FILA’s archive to re-imagine some of their iconic styles to create the size? exclusive ‘Hybrid Collection’ which will be the first time these styles will have been merged together in a collection.

In order to hold significance within the world of sportswear, it’s good to have all bases covered when it comes to creating product for a number of sporting pastimes. FILA as a brand are no different, and over the past century have created many products that have made an impact both in sporting terms and culturally. Many styles from both the basketball and tennis category caught the attention of the hip hop fraternity of the early nineties, staying on the feet of your favourite rappers favourite rapper alongside the biggest rope-chain you could find.

With such a rich heritage, there are so many reference points when it comes to a brand like FILA. The new ‘Hybrid’ collection features modern interpretations of the archive classics that we’ve mixed and matched. The 1st we’d like to introduce is the ‘Mindruptor’: the chunky Mindruptor features a Mindblower upper, fused onto a rugged Disruptor III outsole. The 2nd concept shoe from the collection is the sleeker ‘Disblower’: the Disblower features a Disruptor III upper merged onto a Mindblower outsole. Both models from the ‘Hybrid’ collection are truly unique in their make-up and only available at size?. Keep your eyes peeled and look out for more collaborations between us and the FILA going forward.

Both the FILA ‘Mindruptor’ and ‘Disblower’ will be available via size.co.uk and in selected size? stores on the 28th September, priced at £75.
