Nike Air Footscape Woven Chukka
An evolved form of 1996’s orthopaedic runner, the Air Footscape Woven Chukka returns to size? in three new winterised versions, complete with premium wool uppers ready for the cold weather ahead.
First releasing in a more limited capacity via the HTM line, the Footscape Woven took the DNA of it’s predecessor and enhanced it further, adding the element of movement and free motion with a new and improved midsole tooling. The woven treatment that wraps around the entire shoe pays homage to 2000’s innovative Air Woven, a shoe who’s upper was comprised completely out of interwoven threads of material. As with the original Footscape shape, the Footscape Woven divides opinion greatly with it’s eccentric appearance, and despite the amount of details on it it’s an incredibly comfortable shoe.
For the winter period Nike have re-upholstered the Footscape Woven with a trio of premium versions, with each shoe utilising a different coloured wool across the upper. Tonal leather details have been applied to the blue and black versions, switching up to a tanned leather on the heel panel and pulltab on the tongue. This pack is the first installment of two which encompass this winterised theme, with a trio of Sock Dart’s releasing in the not too distant future…
All three colourways of the Nike Air Footscape Woven Chukka will be available online and in selected size? stores on Friday 28th October, priced at £140.
