Fred Perry ‘Black Champagne’ Pack
Fred Perry is one of the few British brands that has consistently stood the test of time as a mainstay menswear supplier, and since it’s creation 50 years ago has gone onto to expand on a global scale. From it’s humble beginnings as an apparel line created by English tennis champion and former No 1. seed Fred Perry back in 1952, the polo short has been one of the most iconic piece s associated with the brand. The M12 twin tipped polo in particular was the style that took the brand off the court and onto the streets of Britain at the time, and the Black/Champagne combination was a vast contrast to the clean cut white presentation required for games of tennis. The colourway was quickly adopted by the Mod movement of the 60’s due to it’s more formal look.
A classic colourway for over 50 years, it now makes its return on both the B1 and B2 silhouettes, two styles inspired by Fred Perry’s tennis output during the 1980’s. Both make-up’s use an identical palette and colour placement, with minor differences in the construction of each suede upper and varying midsole units.
The Fred Perry ‘Black Champagne’ pack will be available online and in selected size? stores in the coming weeks.
