25 Years of size? | The Exclusive Edition
Over the years, we’ve taken you around the globe to vibrant destinations, paid homage to historic sports moments, and celebrated subcultures and iconic music scenes, all across archetypal silhouettes. As you’ve probably seen, 2025 has been a milestone year for us – we’ve been celebrating 25 years of size? – and what better way to mark the occasion than a lookback through the archive of exclusive collaborations with some of our favourite brands.
It’s been a busy quarter of a century…
2000-2010
Nike ’10 Years of Obsession’ Pack

‘10 Years of Obsession’ is a series that channels some of our favourite Nike models. Releases like the Blazer featured our own iconic black, white and orange insignia, while others reimagined recognisable colourways on modern-day silhouettes. We’ve always been huge fans of classic running shoes and all-terrain outdoor products, which were designed with function at their core, but now host a cult-like following 35 years down the line. The series boasted the Air Mariah, Lunar Racer, Blazer Mid, Lunar 18 and Air Stab. The two Lunar 180 releases featured two colourways from the world of running. The first took the palette from 1991’s Air Huarache ‘Scream Green’ and the second paid homage to the ACG Air Terra – an outdoor trail runner known for its eccentric pullover button-down tongue.
New Balance ‘Estates’ Pack
Honouring British heritage through craftsmanship and detail, the New Balance ‘Estates Pack’ takes the iconic 577 silhouette back to its roots. Made in England and inspired by the textures and tones of the countryside, the palette feels grounded and familiar, while the custom tongue crest unites size?’s modern energy with New Balance’s legacy of quality, reading like a love letter to British design.
Nike x Dave White ‘Wet Paint Pack’
We first worked with Dave White way back in ‘05 on a pack that included a collection of icons that brought the revolutionary Air Max line to the masses. Created to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the original Air Max 95 ‘Neon’, the pack included an Air Max 1, Air Max 90, and of course, the 95. Our AM1 and AM90 are draped in the signature colours of Sergio Lozano’s legendary shoe, with black, grey and neon suede covering the uppers while 3M laces nod to the Air Max 95 OG’s ‘Neon’ reflective accents – one of Dave’s favourite colourways. We then took a stripped-back approach to the AM95, removing its signature palette of both colour gradient and material, and replacing it with a clean white leather upper. The vibrant neon hits remained in their rightful place to form the bond between the rest of the pack.
New Balance 577 x Staple Design ‘Black Pigeon’
For the third instalment of the famed collaboration series between Staple Design and New Balance, we entered the design process, adding our spin on one of NB’s most iconic silhouettes with the release of the 577 ‘Black Pigeon’. Celebrating 30 years of manufacturing at New Balance’s UK factory in Flimby, Cumbria, the size? x Staple Design x New Balance 577 utilises a mixture of handpicked premium materials throughout. A heavy-duty construction with a honeycombed ripstop nylon toe-box and robust leather panels the uppers. Not forgetting the creature comforts, a soft pink felt lines the inner and adds extra warmth.
Nike ‘Clerks’ Pack Carnaby Street & Brighton
Back in 2006, we invited staff from some of our original stores to take part in a global campaign built around the ‘sneaker store’ concept. The ‘Clerks Pack’ spotlighted retailers who kept culture moving in cities worldwide: LA: UNFTD, Stüssy, HUF, Nort, True, and size?. Store staff across the UK were also challenged to design a shoe that represented their hometown, with Manchester, Brighton, and Carnaby Street reworking the Air Max 90, Air Classic BW, and Air Stab.
PUMA States ‘Highlighter’ Pack
Our 2006 PUMA States pack became an instant cult favourite, tapping deep into the UK street-sneaker story. The States model is PUMA’s classic suede runner, embraced by New York hip-hop crews in the ’80s before gaining a UK following and earning its own name. We flipped that heritage into a highlighter-themed exclusive pack, with tonal suede uppers, bright formstrips, extra laces and the size? logo on the heels – four colourways made only for the Carnaby Street release.
adidas Originals ’10th Anniversary City Series’
Embedded in our history, the ‘City Series’ holds a special place among adidas enthusiasts around the world. To mark our 10th anniversary, we embarked on a journey across the metropolises of England, Scotland, and Ireland, creating the ‘Anniversary City Series’ pack with adidas Originals – a celebration of both heritage and our own story. This collaboration brought together three of the original ‘City Series’ icons – Dublin, Manchester, and London – and introduced three new cities connected to our size? store locations: Birmingham, Cardiff, and Glasgow, ultimately welcoming them into the fold for the very first time.
2010-2020
adidas Originals x Fox Brothers & Co Campus 80s
Partnering with adidas Originals and British heritage textile company Fox Brothers, the Campus 80s is built from three of the mill’s most recognisable cloths: West of England Grey flannel, Old English blue chalkstripe, and a Glen check from their archive. The size? nod is added into the mix, with signature orange leather 3-Stripes on the instep, sitting alongside an embroidered Fox Brothers tongue tab, a label synonymous with the brand.
Reebok x Kit-Cat Clock Club C & Unreleased Sample
We’ve experimented with the Club C several times, but there’s just something about that classic, cream leather make-up that brings us back. In 2020, we teamed up with Kit-Cat Clock for a playful rendition, featuring its animated eyes and beaming grin dotted across the upper, complete with a matching clock finished in our signature orange with ginger hues.
adidas Originals ’20th Anniversary City Series’
2020 earmarked two momentous anniversaries: 20 years of size?, and a revisit to the ‘City Series’ with adidas Originals. We shifted our focus to each silhouette’s twin cities from the 2010 ‘City Series’, travelling to Liverpool, Córdoba, Shanghai, Havana, Stuttgart, and Johannesburg to bring the story full circle. Throughout the collection, there’s a palette of vibrant colours, premium suede, retro gum soles, and a shiny ‘1/2020’ logo on every heel.
ASICS ‘Japanese Baseball’, ’36 Views’ & ‘Balloon Fiesta’
Our Japan Stories Pack with ASICS celebrates three distinct elements of Japanese culture through carefully crafted iterations. Drawing inspiration from Katsushika Hokusai’s famed Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji series, the ‘Hokusai’ GEL-LYTE OG features water-resistant suede and ripstop uppers that echo the flowing motion of The Great Wave. The ‘Baseball’ edition pays tribute to Japan’s beloved national pastime, with light grey satin sidewalls mirroring classic jerseys, tonal stitching inspired by baseball seams, and leather detailing reminiscent of a pitcher’s glove. Finally, the ‘Balloon Fiesta’ GELSAGA takes cues from the annual Saga Balloon Festival in Kyushu, using multicoloured ripstop panels that mirror hot air balloon fabric, offset by black suede inspired by pilot gloves.
Nike Air Huarache Light
Inspiration behind one of the most celebrated colourways in the industry, the Mowabb brings together elements of the sunset and sand in Moab, Utah. Over the years, we’ve utilised the palette on a number of our size? exclusives, including the Roshe One, Toki Mid, Air Max Light and the Air Huarache Light.
adidas Originals ZX10,000C & ZX 5000
Reinterpreting one of Jacques Chassaing’s original icons from the 1989 ZX series, the ZX 5000 and ZX 10,000C capture the unmistakable spirit of their era. Though one model is a more recent creation, both look as if they’ve been lifted straight from an ’80s sports shop shelf. A refined three-colour palette, pre-aged midsoles, and the debut of the ‘ZX 5000’ sidewall stamp complete the nostalgic pack.
Nike Air Max 93 ‘Maximum Air’
Our first Air Max 93 quite literally took us out of this world. Originally launched in 1993 with its oversized Air Unit earning the ‘Maximum Air’ moniker, we revisited the silhouette in 2013 by sending two exclusive pairs into the stratosphere. Both retained the OG’s stretch neoprene bootie, suede mudguard, mesh toe box, and elephant-print details in matching palettes.
2020-2025
Nike Air Huarache OG
Paying homage to the colourway of our size? exclusive Nike Lunar Air ACG 180 from 2010 – itself inspired by the ACG Air Terra from 1991 – the Huarache boasts a striking mix of purple, orange, yellow, and black. This bold palette captures the spirit of outdoor adventure, securing the Huarache’s place as a standout in Nike’s rich Air lineage.
Clarks Originals Wallabee ‘Glastonbury’
Our second collaboration with Clarks Originals embraces a rich green exterior, reminiscent of the grassy hills of Glastonbury. Furry suede combines with a patterned floral toe box, adding subtle psychedelia – fitting nods to the town’s deep-rooted history.
Nike Omega Flame
A Nike archive model with a cult following, the Omega Flame returned, bringing back the beloved fiery colourway and its unmistakable running aesthetic.
adidas Originals Superstar 50/20
50 years of Superstar. 20 years of size?. An all-new take on the seminal silhouette. Our rendition is a bold twist on the classic. Lateral sides retain the trusty two-tone combination of black & white, albeit with a few hits of our signature orange. Most significant, though, is the 50/20 typography on the heel, serving as a quiet marker of two shared anniversaries.
Nike Air Force 1 ‘Manchester’
Inspired by the location of one of our very first size? stores, the Nike Air Force 1 ‘Manchester’ carries subtle details to the city. Details include a hidden ‘0161’ on the tongue, honeycomb-style mesh and heel embossing, plus the iconic Manchester bee embroidered at the heel, which was a starting point for the entire design.
adidas Originals Trimm Trab ‘The Lost Ones’
‘The Lost Ones’ project began with the DIEHARDADIDASFAN community in South Jakarta, who shared their remarkable archive of over 450 vintage deadstock adidas pairs from the ’70s to the ’90s. We reimagined three grails and a new rendition, including one pair that honours the Indonesian capital.
Salomon XT-6 ‘Ember’
Revisiting our collaborative relationship with Salomon – first seen in AW23 with the XT-6 Expanse ‘Annecy Hotel’ – we return to reinterpret the famed XT-6. Designed at the intersection between outdoor utility and urban styling, the ‘Ember’ arrives dipped in black and a gradient orange mesh upper. Equal parts trail-ready and streetwear-infused, just how we like it. Underneath the elevated visuals, all the trusted tech from the original 2013 release remains intact. Dual branding features throughout as a part of our 25th anniversary celebrations, including size? motifs placed front and centre on each pair’s tongue.
adidas Originals ‘Japan City Series’ Kyoto
From Sapporo to Kyoto. The next stop in our adidas Originals x size? x Billy’s ‘Japan City Series’ is Kyoto, the self-titled cultural capital of Japan, famous for its ancient temples and shrines. Enclosed by mountains, Kyoto spoiled us with the backdrop for the next two pairs in the collection, which draw from the city’s tea cultivation cultures. Mirroring the Tobacco template that’s synonymous with vintage leisure design language from the 1970s, our adidas Originals Kyoto is constructed from brown suede uppers with contrast leather 3-Stripes and heel tabs that draw its hues from the Rokudenashi café’s sign and bar lighting.
adidas Originals ’25th Anniversary City Series’
We marked our 25th anniversary with a memorable adidas Originals ‘Anniversary City Series’ for 2025, chronicling silhouettes inspired by Shanghai, Dublin, Liverpool, Birmingham, Glasgow and Manchester. Each exclusive pulls deep from its city’s identity with unique materials and palettes with gold ‘1/2025’ detailing, rooting the pack in local culture and rarity. City scarves and collector’s books depicted the story and cultural influences behind every pair, making the series a true keepsake for heads and locals alike.
