Celebrated for its charm and rarity amongst collectors, the adidas Originals Bali debuted in 1977 – when the Island Series was first introduced to the market. Immediately embraced by the booming ‘casuals’ culture in the UK and eventually around the globe, the collection saw over twenty highly sought-after models released in the late ‘70s and ‘80s, all inspired by and named after islands of the world, including the Hawaii, Samoa, Tahiti and many more.

With three decades out of the footwear scene, adidas Originals’ Bali is back – arriving with its original Island Series colourway, that mirrors the deep blue seas surrounding the tropical island’s landscape. Opting for its streamlined silhouette and letting the palette form the shoe’s identity, ‘Tactile Steel’, ‘Dark Marine’, and ‘Chalk Blue’ combine on its upper with white labelling featuring on the tongue. Soft suede also fills this top section, with a darker shade of blue landing on the serrated 3-Stripes and heel. Trefoils adorn the tongue for a splash of heritage, and the textured rubber sole unit completes the shoe’s terrace look.
